University presentations were given in the framework of the 6th International European Law Summer School held by the Centre for International and European Law of the IKBFU’s Faculty of Law. Students from different Russian and European universities told their colleagues about the traditions, training organisation, leisure activities, and student self-governance at their alma maters. The professors and students of summer school had an opportunity to get acquainted with the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, Saint Petersburg State University, the Free International University of Moldova, the University of Marburg, and Baltic State Technical University (Saint Petersburg).

All participants of the Summer School are welcome to a reception held this week at the Russian-German House in Kaliningrad, as is the Summer School tradition. However, only this year Prof. Dietrich Rauschning (University of Göttingen), a Doctor Honoris Causa of IKBFU, will celebrate his anniversary at the Russian-German House.

More than 70 students are taking part in the International Summer School of the IKBFU’s Faculty of Law. Renowned professors from the universities of Marburg, Göttingen, Leipzig, and Augsburg are delivering lectures on the most topical aspects of international and European law. The Summer School offers lectures on comparative constitutional law of Germany and Russia, WTO law, EU law, international trade law and regulation, and European cartel law.
