Developing Trans-regional Information Literacy for Lifelong Learning and the Knowledge Economy/ DIREKT

The aim of the project is to develop a joint program, as well as implement separate online modules on information literacy with partner universities.

The project is designed to enhance information literacy, build up an ability to work with library resources not only among students, but also the general public (lifelong learning).

Within the framework of the project it is planned to study the experience of foreign colleagues and apply it to create a program that will promote the development of information literacy skills for successful integration into the international scientific community, fill in knowledge gaps about the rules of writing and standards for presenting research results, including the citation rules and copyright standards.
