    Director of Centre for Clinical Trials of IKBFU Present Study on Antibiotic-resistant Microorganisms at World’s Largest Congress of Clinical Microbiology
    On April 13-16, 2019, the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) took place in Amsterdam (Netherlands).

    On April 13-16, 2019, the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) took place in Amsterdam, Netherlands. ECCMID is the world’s largest and the most authoritative forum of microbiology, infectious diseases and antimicrobial therapy. More than 13,000 people from 125 countries participated in the congress. The event was dedicated to the latest achievements in diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases.

    12 poster reports represented the Russian Federation science. One of them was made by the researchers of the Institute of Medicine of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University. The poster was about the results of the Russian multicenter observational study RESOURSE. Co-authors of the study became the famous Russian scientists, which are experts in microbiology, urology and antimicrobial therapy for infectious diseases.

    Prof. Dr Vladimir Rafalskiy, director of the Centre for Clinical Trials of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, presented the report at the congress.
