The team of the IKBFU’s Institute of Law finished third in the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition, making it into the national top five. This year, the competition brought together 40 teams from the country’s leading universities. Kaliningrad students will represent Russia in the international rounds on April 9-15 in Washington.
The Philip C. Jessup Competition is the largest and most prestigious international moot court competition in the English language. It simulates a dispute before the UN Court of Justice. The Jessup has been held annually since 1960. Russian teams have participated since 2002, with great success.

‘We have participated for over ten years. This year’s performance is one of our three best scores. The team’s determination, hard work, and will to win have yielded impressive results.’
