Pavel Feduraev from the Institute of Living Systems spoke at the European Geosciences Union General Assembly in Vienna. He gave a presentation titled ‘Using geoinformation technology to estimate heavy metal distribution in the soils of urban ecosystems: The case of Kaliningrad, Russia’ in the session focusing on innovative analytical methods and techniques in soil analysis. The session was chaired by Dr Tõnu Tõnutare from the University of Tartu (Tartu Ülikool).
This year, the European Geosciences Union General Assembly brought together specialists in geosciences from around the world specialising in research on Earth, planets, and outer space. The Assembly gives scientists an opportunity to present their findings and discuss them with leading experts on Earth sciences.
